Today at Hobby Lobby I saw a man wearing a Vietnam vet ball cap in a wheelchair. I dug around in my bag and came up with one of my “thank you, hero” cards, walked back and handed it to him. I didn’t stay to talk, just long enough to see his face light up. He smiled , and I walked away. The moment was about him, not me, but it felt so good.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to do that.
